I have a variety of files that are important to me. I use sugarsync to keep files that I am working on between home and work. And I also keep lots of pictures! But my primary reason for the online backup is to keep the documents that I work on always with me and up to date.

Love this! I am a non-profit coordinator who often works remotely. My home is full of tech hazards - like a busy 16 month old daughter and a feisty cat. Knowing important work projects are backed up simplifies my life :)

I definitely need to save AND access my word documents, presentations, and my most precious pictures! I am a school teacher and I have countless files, projects, lesson plans, and presentations. Throughout the school year I move classrooms and I need safe access to all of these. In addition, I have a huge amount of priceless family pictures that I want to save. An upgrade would be a God-send, specially as I am on a limited budget. I would truly appreciate this wonderful gift!

I write a lot. And, since you never know when you will think of something really fabulous, I like to be able to access my files from wherever I happen to be. That way, I don't end up with little scraps of paper all over the place.

I have a ton of music that I absolutely could not live without. I have a huge fear that it will get erased or ruined and I won't know what to do. I also have a lot of pictures from traveling the world and would be devastated if I lost these. I would love to access this stuff all the time and stop worrying about them disappearing forever because of a dropped laptop or a spilled iced mocha.

My dissertation files (dissertation drafts, endnote database, journal articles, speadsheets, SPSS files, etc.) are the most critical. I have them synced between my laptop and my desktop at the school. In addition, I share the folder with my wife to create an additional backup.

I use sugar sync to back up my important application data files which can't be done by any other cloud service. Not only that but it is great to get all my important text and PDF files to my phone in emergencies or even to enhance class discussions by being able to reference materials from my computer when I cannot access it.

I was a big user of iDisk and so when Apple removed this service I wanted something as easy to use and across my mobile devices. SugarSync allows me to sync all the files I need, images, documents, videos etc. I have a lot of pdf's which I develop for students and so I use sugar sync to make them publicly available to them and it means they can access them across a range of devices. I have no doubt I can fill this 30GB for sure!

As a mom I naturally have a lot of photos that I like to keep. I'm also a music lover. Sugarsync would allow me to access these files from anywhere at anytime from work or my phone. And when I go visiting family I don't have to carry around tons of pictures or CDs. I just open up my phone and there they all are!!!

I work remotely most of the time and need access to my client's file information, contact info and forms they have filled out. You are never asked for the documents when you are sitting in front of a computer. It is always when you are out on the road somewhere which is most of the time in my real estate business. I can always use more storage space and syncing is a must.

My most important files I backup are photo's and videos. The reason why? Just because these are most precious to me, and these are impossible to take an insurance on! (for example, when my house is lost due to whatever reason, or due to some hdd failure of my photo hdd.)

I tried SugarSync but did not like the cluttered gui and setup procedure. Cubby does practically the same, easier to set up (also with custom foldersharing). Unfortunately Cubby is not yet as known as SugarSync.
