Digitwirl will never rent, share, or sell our subscriber list. We appreciate your faith in us, and we promise not to abuse your trust. The policy below describes how we treat the information we collect when you visit our site and/or register for Digitwirl. In the future, a larger media company may purchase Digitwirl. If so, we reserve the right to transfer our complete list to the acquiring company.
Your Information
We collect your email address and some personal information. Digitwirl doesn't collect any information except that expressly provided by you. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party without your consent, except as required to provide you with Digitwirl material.
Other Information
In order to make our site better, we may also request other information from you. Just generic stuff -- like income level or age, that will help us tailor the site to your needs. We may also share this information with third parties, but only in aggregate, anonymous form. No third party will receive information from us that personally identifies you or anyone else in any way.
Usage Information
It is important for us to gather information on how our site is used: How much time do users spend on our site? What sites did they come from? What sites do they go to once they're done learning about the best technology for smart, busy women? All of this information is collected in aggregate form. None of it is personally identifiable.

If you request it, Digitwirl will provide you with a summary of the information we've collected about you, and the opportunity to correct, update or modify this information.
How to Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe from receiving Digitwirl emails at any time. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any Digitwirl email. Or you can email us, contact [at] digitwirl.com and put "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
Third Party Advertising
Occasionally, you'll get an email marked "Dedicated Email" in the subject line and in the email header. These emails are not necessarily reflective of the opinions of our editorial staff. They are content paid for by our advertising partners. You can unsubscribe from receiving Dedicated Emails. However, if you do so, you will no longer receive Digitwirl emails either. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any Digitwirl email.

Giveaways
We run giveaways all the time— you should enter! We draw a winner at random by tallying the number of entries, then using the random integer generator at random.org. If we don't hear back from you, we'll give you a second warning then 48 hours after you were first notified we'll go onto the next person. Sorry, that's how it goes— act fast!
We are forever grateful to the generous businesses who donate items for giveaway. In return, we ask you to check out their sites to answer a question to qualify you for entry. If we determine you are getting the answer from another source, like an online contest website, it's in violation of the spirit of the contest and we reserve the right to disqualify you.
Other legal stuff: You can only enter once per contest (be fair). If you enter more than once we'll disqualify you and your 40 aliases. You must be a legal resident of the US unless otherwise specified. You are solely liable for any taxes on prizes, if any. Contests end midnight PST the night of the review, unless otherwise indicated, and we'll draw a winner within the week. Void where prohibited.
